FALL in LOVE with Daikanyama

FALL in LOVE with Daikanyama

We’re excited to invite you to our Daikanyama Days Pop-up, a special pop-up with The Handmade Edit where you’ll get to explore the elegance of Akoya pearls jewelry alongside ethical, and effortless clothing collections in one of Tokyo’s most fashionable neighborhoods.

And while you’re there, why not make a day of it?

We’ve put together a special Daikanyama Guide featuring our favorite cafes and shops to help you explore the neighborhood. This guide is just the beginning, as we’re launching an exciting new journey—our exclusive Tokyo Guides series! Through this series, we’ll introduce you to a mix of iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and places that locals love and give you a fresh perspective on Tokyo with each edition.

Our goal? To inspire you to explore Tokyo like never before and make new discoveries along the way.

Our first stop is Daikanyama, a chic neighborhood I love to wander where modern meets classic. Whether you're in the mood for cozy cafes or serene gardens, this guide will have something special for you.

Morning at Garden House Crafts

I like to start my day with a coffee at Garden House Crafts. Their breakfast plates, fresh bread, and relaxing terrace create the perfect atmosphere to ease into the day.

A Step Back in Time at Old Asakura House

From there, I often take a quiet walk over to the Old Asakura House. This beautiful historic residence and its serene Japanese gardens feel like a peaceful escape, offering a glimpse into the past right in the heart of Daikanyama.

Exploring the Daikanyama Tsutaya Complex

Next, I head to the Daikanyama Tsutaya Complex to browse through books and magazines. It’s a place where I can lose track of time, especially when paired with a light lunch at Ivy Place or a sweet bite from Princi.

Hidden Gems in the Back Streets

The back streets of Daikanyama are full of surprises. I love visiting Hedy for a bit of window shopping and stopping by Second Street, where I always find interesting designer and vintage pieces.

A Final Stop at Issey Miyake

No day in Daikanyama is complete without a visit to Issey Miyake to see the latest collection. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a day full of inspiration.

Dinner Options to End the Day Right

If I’m in the mood for Italian, I like to head to Cujorl, my favorite spot for a cozy, elegant dinner. For a more traditional touch, Gohanya Isshin Café offers delicious Japanese fare in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Both are perfect ways to end a day in Daikanyama.

We can’t wait to see you at our Daikanyama Days Pop-up! Discover our new collection and grab our Daikanyama Guide for the best local spots.

It’s going to be a stylish and fun day!

See you there!

xx Simi
